FastCut: overview of cutting modes

Modified on Mon, 7 Aug, 2023 at 11:55 AM

FastCut has 2 modes

Cut / segmentation

If your content is "clean", i.e. ready for broadcast.

The FastCut can segment (cut) at precise points to create interstitial inserts on programs.

This is particularly useful for inserting one or more advertising tunnels within a film.

Crop / interval

If your content isn't "clean", i.e. unsuitable for direct broadcast, e.g. bumper at the beginning or end, "off" during the program, etc., FastCut can extract the "clean" content.

FastCut can extract portions of the program that you only wish to keep & broadcast.

This is particularly useful for removing portions of content that would be incompatible with broadcasting.
