Display Stripe payment information to your users

You can activate the Stripe Portal option enabling your users to manage their means of payment. This is particularly useful if they have an expired credit card and want to change it.


If you enable it, your users will be able to access their invoices and modify their bank details from their user profile, from the menu > Personal information > Access my payment information.

The portal page will then be displayed:

 

⚠️ WARNING: Use of the Stripe portal may be subject to an additional fee. We recommend that you check with Stripe support before activating the Stripe portal.

 

To activate the Stripe portal, you need to :

1/ Activate the option in the OKAST Editor, under the menu “project configuration”.



2/ Activate the option on your Stripe account. To do this you will need to make a request to the Stripe support : More info here: https://support.stripe.com/questions/billing-customer-portal

Once the portal is activated, you will be able to configure several options for your portal from the https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/portal menu :

  • Portal appearance to personalize the portal with your logo and colors > https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/branding
  • Information your users will have access to: a history of invoices, option to change their current payment method (credit card)
