The Okast Channels solution includes a "LIVE" module,

This allows you to provide 1 or more RTMP, RTMPS or SRT live video stream entry points, enabling you to retrieve a live stream and insert it into your playlist programming.

There are 2 ways to manage live scheduling on Okast Channels:

Direct unique (a single block) Live: Mono-block

Direct fragmenté (several blocks) Live: Multi-bloc

However, there's an important point to understand before going any further.

We need to distinguish between these 3 elements

1. Live signal acquisition

2. live signal recording

3. broadcasting the live signal

You can broadcast within your playlist a live stream that has started several minutes or hours before the programming time.

To do this, you need to ask the Okast Channels solution to record the incoming stream (either manually or via API).

The recording will then be buffered, so that it can be broadcast during the "Live Tile(s)".

The buffer can be emptied at the end of the live programming, or it can be reused later in the programming by reinserting a Live tile.
